Found this great little documentary about the Chatroulette! phenomenon, and some interesting statistics to boot! I have not shared the link b/c apparently seeing offensive images will happen if you go there. . . you’ll have to find it on your own. I’m not sure yet how I feel or if I dare to venture.

Thanks to Noel for alerting me to this upcoming web conference.  It seems like every year there is some amazing conference that I want to go to but can’t because of the time/money commitments that are required to attend.  Its great what technology is doing for opening up the online learning environment.  Not only can more people attend but more presenters can take part.  I know that nothing can ever replace face to face interactions with people, but I’m really excited to be able to be involved in a limited capacity rather than not at all.
