Judges 10:6 The people of Israel again did what was evil in the sight of the Lord and served the Baals and the Ashtaroth, the gods of Syria, the gods of Sidon, the gods of Moab, the gods of the Ammonites, and the gods of the Philistines. And they forsook the Lord and did not serve him.
Judges 10:13 “Yet you have forsaken me and served other gods; therefore I will save you no more.
Judges 10:14“Go and cry out to the gods whom you have chosen; let them save you in the time of your distress.”
Water Under Attack is a new documentary from Josh Fox, who learned that natural gas drilling was coming to New York City’s watershed, as well as to his hometown in Milanville, PA. So he hopped in his car and drove out west to find out the effects of the recent drilling boom. Although the water has tested out OK with the city, many residents with wells still have ignitable tap water. Trust us when we say: Watch this.
Looks interesting. . . with the huge surge to find alternate forms of energy is really is hard to predict what negative consequences could come from jumping into large scale energy projects.
For example, energy is transferred, not created. What happens when we set up so many wind turbines that we start to change regional or even global wind patterns. .. if you take the energy out of the wind and turn in into usable energy then the wind ceases to have the energy to continue past the turbines. It seems like that might hurt something.
But I’m not a scientist, so if anyone knows more about this feel free to educate me.
So there is this video going around facebook right now with the title “If you don’t believe in God watch this.” I have posted in below. While the story below is moving it is NOT TRUE! Evey Christian that is passing it around is doing a disservice to God and I wish they would stop. Non-Christians that see this think,
“O Boy, there go the Christians again, trying to play off of my emotions and get me to believe some fake story about the power of God!”
The truth is God is great and miraculous! We don’t have to make us stories for people to believe in him. God loves truth, and he wants his people to love truth.
