Reflections On Christmas Amongst Other Things
Lisa and I have found the apartment that we will live in after we get married! And I moved into it this Sunday
While I would have been happy to let Lisa live there until March, she has no rent with the Henrys, so I will be living alone and getting the apartment ready for the both of us. The location is great, its about ten minutes from everything. . . church, work, friends, Crunchy’s. Worst part is everyone has secure wireless internet. . . so it looks like we will actually have to pay for it!
Now for Christmas, it was great! Busy. But Great. I spent Christmas Eve with my Dad, Jen, Sister, and Greg. We ate pizza, opened presents, and just enjoyed each others company. It was very laid back. I got up Christmas morning and drove up to my moms where we had cinnamon rolls and coffee. We opened presents and stockings. We had a wonderful brunch, of which I got plenty to bring home and am still eating this week. I then drove to Lisa’s moms, we opened more presents, and had an amazing Christmas dinner made by George! We then drove over to Lisa’s dads house to open even more presents and hang with the boys. It was a crazy day, but all in all im glad that I got to see all of my family.
This week/end the craziness will continue. Tonight I have a bachelor party for Aaron Kite, who will be getting married on Saturday. Thursday night is NYE, and I will be attending yet another bachelor party for Steve Day. Friday night is Steve’s rehearsal dinner and Saturday is is wedding, and in case you haven’t figured it out by now, I will be standing in it. I think I might disappear from the world for a few days following all of that.
A last side note. I have been meeting with Ryan Ballein on a regular basis. He is an amazing guy, and we are working on a project that we hope to launch soon. So more details on that to follow.
